Our Programs

Shekinah Allied Healthcare Safety and Training offers the following American Heart

Association Classes onsite at our training location and offsite at your work locations to

qualifying groups for your initial and re-certifications:

   :

  • CPR/BLS
  • ACLS, &
  • PALS

A CPR (BLS) certification is useful for everyone from professional rescuers to laymen.

Three primary BLS support level classes are available: BLS for Healthcare Providers,

Heart Code BLS and BLS for Pre-hospital Providers. Heart Code BLS simulates a

healthcare environment so students can refine and test their abilities to make decisions

under pressure. The group’s additional programs for professional rescuers are based on

the same core curriculum as Heart Code BLS but modified for the responsibilities of

hospital healthcare providers and those who work in pre-hospital settings.

The AHA’s BLS Provider Course reflects science and education from the current

Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life

support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a

focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. In this Instructor-led course, students

participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an

AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also

        complete a multiple choices exam.

CPR/BLS (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support) Initial Certification:

The BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all

ages (including ventilation with a barrier device, and oxygen), use of an AED on adults

and children, and relief of FBAO in responsive and non-responsive victims.

         Course Description

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to provide a

variety of professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies,

provide high-quality CPR, use an AED and also an effective manner in providing relief of

choking. This AHA Approved course emphasizes CPR skills for victims of all ages and

includes ventilation with a barrier device and oxygen, along with the use of an AED and

relief of airway obstruction in responsive and non-responsive victims. The AHA’s BLS

Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both

single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both pre-hospital and

in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
